  There are toilet blocks and rubbish bins dotted around as well as the occasional non drinkable tap .

  Best of both worlds. You get surf beach on to the east, bay to the north and lagoon to the south. Just stay away during school holidays if you don't like crowds.

  Take your own drinking water with you as well as any other vitals as there no Shop close (this includes Fire wood)

  Lovely setting with literally thousands of camping spots , (although it does get very busy you should be able to find a spot) you can choose from setting up amongst the trees or on the beach front and everywhere in between.

  The longest you can camp here is 30days by permit which I think is around 6-7 bucks (beach driving by permit also ) which is online or from some of the shops at rainbow beach .

  Fantastic place to camp! Big enough area where you can spread out and not feel suffocated by neighbouring campsites. Close to both the channel and the river and you can see the 4WD on the beach in Frasier from a distance. We only had an AWD and we were able to drive in the Sarawak campsite, however their were other campsites that were only 4WD, so just be cautious. The ranger told us to walk the drive of the camp before we drove it, which was great advice.
